Branche

The Branche teapot has a smooth, contemporary design accentuating the soothing, calming aspects of tea drinking. A sleek, lifeless tree and branches were the visual inspirations for this piece as they embody the serene aspects of the tea drinking experience. Branche was created to emphasize the primitive behavior of using something without a handle. The most challenging aspect of this project was to design a tea pot which met the desired parameters of being contemporary, sleek, safe and able to be used with one hand, right or left.

MiPan

The MiPan is designed to absorb the fat and liquid by-products of the cooking process and hold them within a cavity preventing unpleasant spitting and the associated mess. This efficient removal of excess fat and liquid creates leaner food cooked at lower temperatures. The reduction in cooking temperature means a reduction in carcinogens produced by pyrolysis. Finally the MiPan promotes the Maillard reaction as the removal of water facilitates the recombination of sugars and amino acids to form new flavour compounds.

Epi-Happy

Epi-Happy is a small centerpiece for the office desks and dinner tables of tomorrow. The inspirational background -a translation in three dimensional space of ornamental motifs- makes it a classic yet a contemporary stylish object. A triple repetition of a basic unit creates a continuous storage area that can store or display several small objects. The continuity of space also helps it act as a cable holder, or it can be instantly transformed into an anti-stress device as well. Just throw a ball and try to roll it around. In every aspect, Epi-Happy is a friendly space occupant.

PEGTOP

Innovative cup for coffee or tea which mixing ingredients without spoon. It rotates around its pivot-center on a stand-saucer by a push hand. Special pear-shaped design and the ribs which are inclined towards rotation provide good mixing drinks and prevent a spillage (streams of liquid go down). There is no more discomfort from a spoon hitting the cup. The process of drinking coffee or tea obtains a shade of a beautiful game.
